On June, AFESU Veleiros received Mariana Quadros, Rodolfo Nogueira and Luiza Issa, professionals from The Dow Chemical Company, one of the biggest company in the chemical, plastic and agricultural industry, that searches for the best solution to the most challenging world problems, such as potable water, renewable energy and agricultural growth.
The beneficiaries from Project Gestão e Tecnologia Aplicada (Management and Applied Technology) and Gastronomia e Eventos (Gastronomy and Events) were contemplated in dynamics, speaks and life stories from Mariana, Rodolfo and Luiza. The talks were very important because they brought current subjects about the market, corporate environment, exchange and professional experiences from the speakers. The students enjoyed a lot speeches and chitchat because they could see the difficulties those professionals faced to be where they are and the students saw that they have to continue pursuing their dreams and professional goals.
“I liked a lot the event because the examples helped me think about my professional and personal future. They fought, did not give up, had faith, recognize their mistake so they could get it right. They inspired me to study and work hard, I loved to talked to people with that kind of experience.” said Fernanda Carvalho Oliveira de Assunção, Gestão e Tecnologia Aplicada student.
“I liked the declaration from all saying that we should never give up, that I should pursue what I liked for my future and the questions we need to ask yourselves”. said Leticia Soares Ferreira, Gestão e Tecnologia Aplicada student.
