AFESU is taking technology and mechanics to girls

In a partnership with Agnus Educação, Project Vida will use kits from Lego Education in workshops

Project Vida I, that offers free school support to girls from 8 to 10 years old will apply principles of technology, mechanics, physics and mathematics in their workshops. The news comes from the partnership between AFESU and Agnus Educação, a company specialized in innovative education which donated the pedagogical material.

The beneficiaries of the project received 14 kits from Lego Education, that enabled the construction and the real exploitation of machines and mechanisms with multidisciplinary assembling and highlight the contents of Technology, Mechanics, Science, Physics and Mathematics. The kits are composed of pieces from LEGO® System, and have gears, sheaves and engines, as well as support material to the instructors in the project to help the development of the workshops.

Besides the kits, the team from Project Vida I participated in the pedagogical training given by Agnus about the usage of materials to Elementary School, aiming the whole formation of the beneficiaries in the project.
